Tania Kristoff is an Associate Professor – Academic Programming at the College of Nursing, University of Saskatchewan (USask). She holds a BScN (1997), MN (2005), and PhD (2020) from USask. Her practice spans medical/surgical acute care and community health nursing, with teaching experience since 2016 in the undergraduate nursing program at the College of Nursing.
Her research focuses on simulation-based teaching strategies, cultural humility, and supporting Indigenous post-secondary students. She developed her pedagogical approach at the First Nations University of Canada, emphasizing respect, relationship-building, and reciprocity. She is a Canadian Certified Simulation Nurse Educator (CCSNE).
Current roles include Treasurer of the k ā -w ī ci-pimoht ē m ā t Professional Practice Group (since 2022) and membership in the Canadian Alliance of Nurse Educators Using Simulation (since 2021). She received the Clinical Simulation in Nursing Non-Research Article of the Year award in 2022.
