Taneisha Grant, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine (Digestive Diseases) at Yale School of Medicine. She is a board-certified gastroenterologist specializing in motility disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, medical nutrition, and addressing healthcare disparities. Her clinical expertise includes treating conditions such as GERD, celiac disease, and performing endoscopic procedures like colonoscopies and Bravo pH capsule placement.
Dr. Grant holds a BS in Biology from The City College of The City University of New York (CCNY of CUNY) and an MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Yale School of Medicine, followed by a sub-fellowship in gastrointestinal motility at the University of Michigan. She also earned a Nutrition and Healthy Living Certificate from Cornell University.
Her research and advocacy focus on health equity, working with medical and community organizations to reduce healthcare disparities. She is affiliated with Yale Medicine and maintains clinical locations across Connecticut.
