Dr. Tamzin Rollason is a Lecturer in the School of Fashion and Textiles at RMIT University, specializing in sustainable fashion consumption, education, and research. She teaches in the Sustainable Innovation in Fashion and Textiles program, integrating sociology, environmental studies, and fashion to address sustainability challenges. Her research focuses on socio-material dimensions of dressing practices, circularity, and ethnographic methodologies.

- PhD in Global Urban and Social Studies (RMIT University)
- Masters of Sustainability and Environment (Monash University)
- Undergraduate studies in Biological Science and Ecology
Research & Leadership: Dr. Rollason co-leads RMIT’s Social Practices and Sustainable Consumption Enabling Impact Network, a transdisciplinary initiative applying social practices theory to sustainable consumption strategies. Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals 12 (Responsible Consumption), 13 (Climate Action), and 10 (Reduced Inequalities).
Advising & Industry: Open to supervising Masters/PhD students and collaborating on industry projects, media engagements, and advisory roles. She previously worked in environmental policy, including as Waste Minimisation Campaign Manager at Environment Victoria.
Labs/Teams: Active in RMIT’s Sustainable Innovation programs and the Social Practices and Sustainable Consumption network.
