Tamsin Saxton is a Professor in the Psychology Department at Northumbria University since 2012. She holds a PhD in Psychology (2005), MSc (2004), and a BA in French Literature (1996). Her research focuses on evolutionary approaches to human behavior, including mate choice, biological traits in interpersonal perceptions, and chemosignals. Currently, she is a Leverhulme Trust Research Fellow investigating odour's role in parent-infant interactions.
