Tammy McNeil is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business, Economics and Entrepreneurship at Bennett College within the Division of Professional Studies. She brings over 20 years of experience in management and business ownership, with a focus on empowering women entrepreneurs through consulting and educational initiatives.
Her research interests span Financial Literacy, Leadership, and Business Development, informed by her extensive corporate background with organizations like American Express and Bank of America. Her 2004 article Tammy’s Tried and True 10 Tips for Life and Business Success highlights strategies for entrepreneurial success, particularly targeting women.
She has received the Winston Lake Adult Leadership Achievers Award (2001) and contributed to academic communities through guest lectures and workshops at institutions including North Carolina A&T State University and High Point University. Currently, she serves as a business Counselor for Greensboro SCORE and continues to advocate for community enrichment through mentorship programs.
