Tami Dinh

Prof. Dr. Tami Dinh is a Full Professor of Accounting at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), serving as Managing Director of the Institute of Accounting, Control, and Auditing (ACA-HSG) and Academic Director of the PhD Programme in Management. Her research focuses on international accounting standards, intangible assets valuation, non-GAAP reporting practices, and the impact of social media on financial communication. She has published extensively in top journals like Accounting, Organizations and Society and European Accounting Review. Her work bridges empirical archival analysis with behavioral experiments, addressing topics such as NGO accountability mechanisms and corporate sustainability disclosures.

Teaching responsibilities include Master’s courses in international financial accounting and PhD research methodology. She co-organizes the Swiss Accounting Research Alpine Camp (SARAC), fostering academic collaboration in the alpine region. Her research network spans global institutions, with particular emphasis on European accounting policy developments. Supervision of master theses is pending a 2025 restart under specific eligibility criteria.
