Tamara Schwertel is a researcher at the Chair of Medical Sociology, Institute for Medical Sociology, Health Services Research, and Rehabilitation Science (IMVR) at the University of Cologne. She holds a Digital Visiting Scholar position at the Usher Institute, University of Edinburgh and has taught at universities including Frankfurt, Mainz, Munich, Vienna, and Innsbruck. Her work bridges qualitative methods, medical sociology, and science and technology studies.
