Dr Tamara Blake is a Research Fellow and Respiratory Scientist at the Child Health Research Centre, affiliated with the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences at The University of Queensland. With a PhD from Queensland University of Technology, her expertise lies in pediatric lung function assessment and respiratory disease mechanisms.

Her research focuses on Cystic Fibrosis, Asthma, and Australian First Nations respiratory health, particularly validating diagnostic standards for spirometry and fractional exhaled nitric oxide. Major grants include MBW Training and LCI Overread Services (2023–2026) and Running for Health (2023–2026). She supervises PhD projects on early CF disease detection, MRI lung structure analysis, air pollution impacts, and normative oscillometry data development.
