Tamara A. Lambert is a Professor at Lehigh University's Department of Accounting, where she joined in 2013 and holds the John B. O'Hara Professorship. Her research investigates how mental perceptions and inferences influence accountability system judgments, with a focus on evaluating and improving accountability systems and outcomes.
Her work has been published in top-tier journals such as the Journal of Accounting Research, The Accounting Review, and Contemporary Accounting Research. She has served as an associate editor for Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory and on editorial boards of multiple accounting journals. A licensed CPA (inactive) with prior audit experience at Deloitte (2001-2004), she teaches courses in sustainability/ESG measurement, financial accounting, and auditing.
