Tam Villar

Tam Villar is an Associate Professor-in-Residence at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), affiliated with the Department of Counselor Education, School Psychology, and Human Services. She serves as the Human Services Program Coordinator and co-manages the Advanced Graduate Certificate in Addiction Studies program.

Clinical Expertise: With over 15 years of experience as a licensed counselor in Nevada, she specializes in co-occurring disorders, trauma-informed care, and addiction treatment. She previously served as a clinical supervisor for counselor interns, emphasizing evidence-based practices in mental health services.
