Adam Wick is an Adjunct Professor at Bethel University, holding roles in both the College of Adult and Professional Studies and the College of Arts and Sciences. He teaches in the Addiction Studies Certificate program and the Department of Psychological Sciences. He joined Bethel in 2024.
Wick holds an M.A. in Integrated Recovery for Co-occurring Disorders from the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies (2021). His clinical expertise includes treating addiction and trauma in men, specializing in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. He operates a private practice focused on male mental health and is a Minnesota board-approved supervisor for LADCs.
He is licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC), Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT). He is a member of the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP). His professional website is Vital Mental Health MN.
