Talia Weiner is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of West Georgia, affiliated with the School of Social Sciences and College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. As a licensed professional counselor and interdisciplinary scholar, her work bridges critical psychology and medical anthropology.

Recent publications highlight ethnographic approaches to self-management, moral agency, and neurodiverse identities. Her work integrates qualitative methodologies with critical analyses of healthcare systems.
At UWG, she teaches courses on abnormal psychology, qualitative research methods, neurodiversity, and cultural psychology. She also mentors graduate students in clinical and research settings.
