Talha Syed is an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Berkeley Law School, with a focus on legal theory and political economy. His research bridges intellectual property law, antitrust, and distributive justice, particularly in biomedical innovation contexts. A former Petrie-Flom Academic Fellow (2006-2009), he analyzed patent regimes in health innovation policy during his fellowship.
