Talbot M. Andrews is Assistant Professor in Cornell's Government Department, researching how policy design and environmental change interact with public attitudes to shape environmental policy behaviors. Her work examines climate change literacy across Africa and disaster attribution in American politics.
Her book 'Climate Games' uses lab experiments to analyze strategic challenges in climate disaster prevention. Publications in Nature Climate Change, PNAS, and Journal of Politics address climate vulnerability effects on policy preferences, local media's role in climate attitudes, and collective action dilemmas.
Prior appointments include University of Connecticut and Princeton postdoctoral fellowship. She holds a PhD from Stony Brook University with regional fieldwork across 20+ countries investigating institution-building during social transformations.
