Tahani Mohamed is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting, Finance, and Economics at Bournemouth University’s Business School. She transitioned from part-time lecturer (2017) to full-time lecturer (2019) while completing her PhD in Tax Minimisation and Firm Value. Her research focuses on taxation, corporate governance, and sustainability, with contributions to UN SDGs like Gender Equality and Sustainable Cities.

Research Interests: Tahani’s work bridges accounting practices with sustainability and public policy. Her recent studies include analyzing carbon tax policies and their socio-economic implications.

Teaching & Outreach: Tahani leads the Sustainable Economic Development Programme and supervises PhD students. She engages in public outreach, including workshops on gender empowerment and local democracy. She also trains professionals via Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Key Publications: Recent works include studies on educational technology’s role in student learning and carbon pricing’s societal impacts. Her PhD thesis evaluated tax minimisation methods in UK’s FTSE 350 companies.
