Taeho Kim

Dr. Taeho Kim is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto’s Centre for Industrial Relations and Human Resources, located on the St. George (Downtown Toronto) campus. His work bridges labor economics, organizational behavior, and criminal justice systems.

  • BA in Economics and Mathematics, Dartmouth College
  • PhD in Economics, University of Chicago

Kim’s research focuses on two primary streams: (1) accountability and performance in criminal justice organizations, such as the impact of promotion incentives and oversight measures (e.g., body cameras) on police behavior, and (2) labor market dynamics, including workplace practices and the gender pay gap influenced by salary negotiation skills.
