Tabea Junker is a Researcher at the University of Tübingen in the Faculty of Humanities, specifically within the Department of Modern German Literature since October 2024. She was previously employed at the same department from August 2020 to September 2023.

Research Interests: Tabea’s work centers on the genre theories of the sonnet, prison lyric poetry, and the cultural and historical contexts of 20th-century German literature. Her dissertation project, "Zwischen Zeitdiagnose und Krisenbewältigung - Albrecht Haushofers Moabiter Sonette", analyzes Albrecht Haushofer’s sonnets written in Gestapo imprisonment, emphasizing their aesthetic form and cultural significance. Her interests also include writing scenes research, Rainer Maria Rilke, and the literature of the "Inneren Emigration" (Internal Emigration).
Publications: She has contributed to edited volumes and journals, focusing on Albrecht Haushofer’s sonnets, prison poetry, and sonnet genre studies. Her 2024 article in the Literaturwissenschaftliches Jahrbuch explores the sonnets’ form and function as prison lyric poetry.
