TIMOTHY R. BROWN

Dr. Timothy R. Brown is a Professor in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Georgia (UGA) and Augusta University Medical College of Georgia Partnership, and Director of Interprofessional Education at UGA's College of Pharmacy. He holds board certifications (BCACP, FASHP) and has leadership roles in academic and professional organizations.

• Education: Pharm.D. from Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences; Residency at Medical College of Virginia.
• Research & Practice Focus: Ambulatory Care Practice, Interprofessional Education, and Medical Education Innovation.

Recipient of prestigious awards including the 2018 Ohio Health-System Pharmacist of the Year and 2024 Distinguished Practitioner Fellow. He co-edited books on Ambulatory Care practice models and hosts the podcast PharmCast for the Community.
