Candice Garwood

Candice Garwood, Pharm.D., FCCP, BCPS, BCACP is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Wayne State University's Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She serves as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Harper University Hospital, Detroit Medical Center, and has held progressive academic roles since 2001.

Her research focuses on pharmacy practice models and optimization of high-risk medications, particularly anticoagulants in special patient populations. Her publications examine anticoagulation management, pain management strategies, and geriatric pharmacotherapy.
