Søren Christian Krogh is a Post.Doc and PhD in Sociology at Aalborg University, affiliated with the Department of Culture and Learning and the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. He is also part of the Centre for Youth Research (CeFU) and the SSH Children and Youth Research Network. His research focuses on the social aspects of youth life, particularly how performance culture, gender, and social media impact adolescent mental health. Krogh has been involved in multiple projects, including leading the 'Unges mentale helbred i præstationssamfundet: Skoleliv, køn og sociale medier' project (2019–2022) and contributing to initiatives like 'Pædagogiske veje til bedre trivsel på ungdomsuddannelserne' (2022–2025).
He has held external positions such as Research Assistant at the Center for Psykisk Sundhedsfremme (2017–2021) and an Erhvervsph.d.-stipendiat with Skoleforvaltningen (2019–2022). Krogh has authored over 19 publications, including his 2022 PhD thesis exploring youth life under pressure. He has been recognized with a nomination for the Roblon Prize (2017). His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to mental health and education.
