Noemi Katznelson is a Professor at the Department of Culture and Learning at Aalborg University, Denmark. She is affiliated with the Centre for Youth Research (CeFU) and holds a prominent role in Danish academic circles, having received The Order of the Dannebrog in 2019. Her research focuses on youth studies, education policy, and mental health, with a particular emphasis on student motivation, vocational education, and societal impacts.
Her academic contributions include over 112 publications and 31 research projects, many of which explore youth well-being, educational challenges, and societal integration. Notable projects include Bedre trivsel for unge på FGU (improving well-being in vocational training) and Hvordan giver det mening at være ung på EUD? (meaning of youth in educational programs).
