Szymon Prandzioch

Szymon Prandzioch is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Graphic Arts, Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. He holds a Doctor of Arts degree and focuses on intaglio printing and painting, drawing inspiration from European graphic art traditions.

• Education: Graduated with distinction (2008) from the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice (Intaglio Studio of Prof. Stanisław Kluska and Drawing Studio of Prof. Bogdan Topor); Postgraduate Theology studies at University of Silesia (2022)

Research Interests: Explores intersections between humanity and religious tradition through historical European graphic art sources. Specializes in mezzotint techniques and sacred art applications.

Professional Projects: Creates large-scale religious art installations including crucifixes, mosaics, and Way of the Cross compositions for churches in Poland, Ukraine, and internationally.
