Prof. Sylvia Mittler is an Associate Professor of French at the Department of Language Studies, University of Toronto. She specializes in culturally-oriented courses on folktales, myths, Francophonie, and French literature, including travel writing, children's literature, and contemporary humor. Her pedagogy integrates practical language training (translation and interpretation) with critical analysis of cultural identities.
