Swati Sachan

Dr. Swati Sachan is a Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence in Finance at the University of Liverpool's Management School, specializing in explainable AI and blockchain integration for financial, legal, and insurance sectors. She holds an MSc in Financial Operational Research from the University of Edinburgh and a PhD in Operational Research and Applied Statistics from the University of Glasgow.

Her research focuses on developing secure, transparent AI systems using blockchain for auditing, cryptographic security, and decision-making improvements in underserved communities. Key areas include XAI for loan underwriting automation, human-AI collaboration in financial decision noise reduction, and blockchain frameworks for legal compliance.
