Swati Gupta is the Class of 1947 Career Development Associate Professor at MIT Sloan School of Management's Operations Research and Statistics Group. Her research bridges optimization theory and real-world applications, focusing on algorithmic fairness, quantum computing, healthcare systems, and energy infrastructure. She holds a PhD from MIT and degrees from IIT Delhi.
Education: PhD in Operations Research (MIT, 2017), Joint Master's and Bachelor's in Computer Science (IIT Delhi, 2011).
Research Focus: Static/dynamic algorithms for noisy data, multi-criteria decision-making, quantum-classical optimization integration. Applications span hiring, healthcare, energy grids, and policy.
