Swapan Chaudhuri is a globally renowned Tabla virtuoso and educator, associated with institutions such as the Ali Akbar College of Music and California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). As Director of Percussion at Ali Akbar College and Director of North Indian Percussion Studies at CalArts since 1991, he has mentored hundreds of students who now lead careers worldwide.
