Dr. Svantje Guinebert is a Lecturer for Special Tasks at the Institute of Philosophy, University of Leipzig, since April 2021. Prior to this, she served as a Research Associate at the University of Bremen (2012-2021) and Research Assistant at Saarland University (2009-2011).
- Education: First State Examination in Philosophy and French (Saarland University, 2009), Doctorate summa cum laude (University of Bremen, 2017), Academic Visitor at University of Utah (2016), Research Stay at University of Arizona (2016).
Her research interests span four core areas: (1) Metaethics - analyzing moral justification through existential philosophy frameworks; (2) Philosophy of Humor - exploring humor as a critical tool for overcoming societal boundaries; (3) Philosophy Didactics - developing methods for teaching philosophy in schools; (4) Existential Resistance - examining Albert Camus' concept of revolt in political philosophy contexts.
Key publications trends show multidisciplinary engagement: (1) 2021 article on envy in primary education; (2) 2020 works on humor's epistemological role and moral theory comparisons; (3) 2018 monograph on authority and autonomy; (4) 2016 contribution to virtue ethics. These works intersect education theory, existential psychology, and political philosophy.
