Suzanne Scott, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor and Chair of the Counseling Department at Wayne State College's School of Education and Behavioral Sciences. She teaches counseling courses and school counseling courses, with 17 years of prior experience as a school counselor in North Carolina and Wyoming. Dr. Scott holds dual licenses as a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-Wyoming), and actively supervises school-counselors-in-training.

Dr. Scott has held leadership roles in both the Wyoming and Nebraska School Counselor Associations, maintaining active engagement in professional governance. She aligns her work with CACREP standards for core faculty designation.
