Suzanne Egan is Associate Professor and Director of Knowledge Exchange at University College Dublin's School of Law. She founded and directed the UCD Centre for Human Rights (2015-2019) and holds an honorary position at the University of Bristol's Human Rights Implementation Centre. Her research examines international human rights law, child labor regulations, refugee rights, and human rights education methodologies.
Egan has extensive professional experience, including serving two terms on the Irish Human Rights Commission (2000-2011) and advising governmental bodies on human rights frameworks. She received teaching excellence awards from UCD (2017) and the College of Social Sciences and Law (2022).
