Suzanne Belleci is an Adjunct Professor at Vermont Law School's Center for Justice Reform (CJR). She specializes in conflict transformation, restorative justice, and social justice education. With over 17 years of teaching experience, she has instructed courses on global peacebuilding, conflict analysis, and management both domestically and internationally. Her professional roles include serving as SIT's first ombudsperson, mediating disputes, and facilitating conflict resolution dialogues.
For two decades, Belleci has led peacebuilding workshops in conflict zones such as Iraq, Kosovo, Rwanda, and Palestine. She developed programs like Jardin de Maestros to increase teacher diversity and previously worked in legislative advocacy in California. Currently, she directs the Greater Falls Community Justice Center in Vermont.
Her expertise combines academic instruction with practical conflict intervention, emphasizing cross-cultural communication and systemic justice reform. Belleci has taught in multiple countries including Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, and Micronesia, reflecting her global approach to social justice education.
