Emily Gould is an Adjunct Professor at Vermont Law School, specializing in Global Restorative Justice and Rwanda-focused legal reform. She advises Rwanda’s Ministry of Justice on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and trauma-informed justice procedures, funded by the JAMS Foundation, Netherlands, and EU. She co-founded African Peace Partners, a nonprofit supporting Rwandan community mediation, and contributed to Rwanda's 2020 ADR policy adoption.

Her research interests include restorative justice implementation, trauma-informed legal systems, and leadership development in law. She teaches at Vermont Law School and Columbia Law School, where she co-developed a leadership course: Lawyer Leadership: Leading Self, Leading Others, Leading Change.
