Suzanna Long

Suzanna Long is Professor and Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Idaho. With a PhD in Engineering Management, she leads initiatives in infrastructure resilience and sustainable systems. Previously, she chaired Engineering Management at Missouri S&T and has secured $18M in research funding.

Her research focuses on critical infrastructure resilience, sustainable development, and transportation safety, with emphasis on disaster response and climate adaptation strategies.

Recent publications demonstrate strong trends in AI-driven flood prediction (45% of last 15 articles) and sustainability modeling (33%), leveraging machine learning for environmental risk mitigation.
