Susanne Coleman

Susanne Coleman is an NIHR Post Doc Research Fellow at the School of Medicine, University of Leeds. Her work focuses on pressure ulcer prevention, wound care, and methodological approaches like realist evaluation and consensus methods.

• Research Interests: Pressure ulcer risk assessment, instrument development, epidemiological research, cognitive pre-testing methods, and complex intervention evaluation.
• Professional Roles: Member of international COMET registered core outcomes project 'Outcomes for Pressure Ulcer Trials' (OUTPUTS), and Clinical Guideline Group for Risk Assessment (EPAUAP/NPUAP/PPPIA).

Scientific Awards:

She collaborates with national NHS groups such as the 'Leading Change Adding Value Framework - Improving Wound Care Project' and 'Stop the Pressure Steering Committee' to influence practice and policy. Her current postgraduate student is Laura McLarty.
