Research Interests: Her work integrates machine learning with cardiovascular biomechanics to address disease prevention. Key areas include coronary artery bifurcation hemodynamics, stent design optimization, and predictive modeling of plaque progression. Her SVMG lab develops cutting-edge computational tools and 3D-printed vascular models.
Publications: Recent work explores stent design, sex-specific coronary anatomy, and large-scale medical imaging datasets like MedShapeNet. Her studies highlight the role of vessel curvature in atherosclerosis and the reliability of computational hemodynamic models.
Awards: Recognitions include Fellowships from the National Heart Foundation and Cardiovascular Society of Australia/New Zealand, plus awards for early-career excellence in research.
Teaching & Grants: Teaches MECH9650 Micro- and Biofluidics and GSOE8920 Project Management. Active in grant-funded projects totaling over $1.5M, focusing on predictive cardiovascular modeling and medical device innovation.
Labs & Teams: The SVMG collaborates internationally on stent design, computational modeling, and medical imaging challenges. Ongoing PhD projects aim to advance AI-driven cardiovascular diagnostics and therapeutics.
