Susan Walsh, Ph.D., is an Adjunct Professor in the Forensic Science Department at the University of New Haven, affiliated with the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences. She is also an Associate Professor of Biology at Indiana University Indianapolis (IUI), where her laboratory focuses on the genetics of human physical appearance—such as pigmentation and facial structure—and its prediction from DNA.

She previously served as a research assistant at the University of Sydney, Australia, and a postdoctoral research associate in anthropology at Yale University, CT, USA.
