Kelly Walsh serves as Adjunct Faculty in the Division of Government and Public Service, Investigations Program at the University of New Haven's Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences. A retired Lieutenant from the Avon Police Department (Connecticut), she brings extensive field experience in criminal investigations, digital forensics, and law enforcement leadership to her academic role.

- Master of Science in Criminal Justice (Concentration: Law Enforcement Management), University of New Haven
Her research focuses on digital evidence collection, cybercrime investigation methodologies, and law enforcement training protocols. She specializes in network intrusion analysis, child exploitation prevention, and forensic computer examination techniques developed through her FBI task force experience. Her work bridges practical law enforcement challenges with academic instruction in criminal justice systems.

Walsh actively shapes law enforcement education through her role as a Connecticut Police Officer Standards and Training Council Certified Instructor, having taught recruit academies and in-service training for over a decade. She currently oversees global security operations at Travelers Insurance while directing the FBI National Academy Associates Connecticut Youth Leadership Course. Her community engagement includes year-round Special Olympics support through the Law Enforcement Torch Run and fundraising initiatives.
