Susan Waigwa is a Research Fellow at the University of Liverpool, specializing in public health with a focus on women’s health. Her work addresses critical issues such as reproductive health, violence against women and girls (VAWG), and female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM/C). She completed her PhD at the University of Birmingham and previously worked as a researcher there until joining Liverpool in 2024. Her current research explores menopause experiences among Black and Chinese women in the UK, emphasizing ethnic disparities in healthcare.
