Susan Rhame is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the Gupta College of Business, University of Dallas. She holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington and has professional experience as a tax professional at Arthur Young & Co. Her teaching focuses on accounting research methods and intermediate financial accounting. Rhame served as Associate Dean of Academic Affairs from 2015-2017. Research interests span business education innovation, taxation policy analysis, and practice-based curriculum development. She is affiliated with the American Accounting Association and Texas Society of CPAs.
Her recent publications explore online learning effectiveness in business education, mission-driven approaches in curriculum design, and horizontal equity measures in taxation. Rhame maintains active membership in professional accounting organizations and engages in academic leadership roles. Office hours are TR 5:15-6:15 PM in SB Hall #334.
