Susan Marie Clark

Susan Marie Clark is a Research Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of New Mexico. Her work focuses on quantum information science, particularly through her leadership of the QSCOUT (Quantum Scientific Computing Open User Testbed) project at Sandia National Laboratories.

• Education: PhD from Stanford University (2010)

Research Interests: Susan’s research emphasizes the development of robust ion trap systems for quantum computing, implementation of quantum algorithms on real hardware, and enhancing small-scale quantum computers. She actively collaborates with graduate students on these topics.
