Kenneth Brown is the Michael J. Fitzpatrick Distinguished Professor of Engineering at Duke University, holding joint appointments in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Physics, and Chemistry. He leads the Brown Lab, which focuses on quantum computing and molecular spectroscopy. His research spans quantum error correction, quantum control, and trapped-ion systems. Brown earned his B.S. from the University of Puget Sound (1998) and Ph.D. from UC Berkeley (2003).
