Susan Lahey

Susan Lahey, Ph.D., is a Professor and Program Director of Graduate Counseling at Trevecca Nazarene University. She has been a full-time faculty member since 2007 and served as director since 2017. Her roles include doctoral program coordinator (since 2009) and CACREP accreditation liaison. She co-sponsors Theta Nu Upsilon, the program’s Chi Sigma Iota honor society.

Her research focuses on clinical supervision, counselor identity development, marital crisis intervention, and family systems leadership. Professional service includes roles in the Tennessee Marriage and Family Therapy Association and advocacy for counselor educator standards. Her work emphasizes mentoring future counselors, supervisors, and educators.
