Susan Ingram is a Professor in the Department of Humanities at York University (Toronto, Canada), affiliated with multiple graduate programs including Humanities, Communication and Culture, and Translation Studies. She also serves as non-resident faculty at Vienna's Diplomatische Akademie. Her research focuses on comparative literature, cultural translation, fashion theory, and European studies. She has coordinated the Graduate Diploma in Comparative Literature and contributed to initiatives like the Canadian Comparative Literature Association.
Her teaching spans undergraduate and graduate courses in European Studies, cultural theory, and fashion studies. She has supervised numerous PhD and MA students across disciplines, focusing on themes like gender, urban culture, and transnationalism.
