Susan Hogan

Susan Hogan is Professor of Arts in Health Research at the University of Derby's College of Arts, Humanities and Education. Her research focuses on arts-based interventions in health contexts, particularly perinatal well-being, art therapy, and gender issues. She explores how participatory arts can address women's health issues and refugee experiences.

Her publications include systematic reviews on arts interventions for maternal well-being and cancer patients, as well as studies on digital art in refugee engagement and feminist perspectives on historical figures like Florence Nightingale.
