Susan Goins-Eplee is a Clinical Instructor of Nursing at UVA School of Nursing specializing in community/public health. Certified as both a Clinical Nurse Leader and Health Ethics Consultant, she brings multidisciplinary experience from roles as a chaplain, unit nurse, and ethics consultant at UVA Health since 2015. Fluent in Spanish, she has participated in global humanitarian work with Building Goodness Foundation and Habitat for Humanity.
Her clinical interests include nursing ethics, special needs care, and autism advocacy. Goins-Eplee actively collaborates with Virginia Institute for Autism and Special Olympics, focusing on inclusion practices for special needs populations. She regularly presents on grief/bereavement, ethics, cancer care, and end-of-life care while continuing service on UVA Health's Ethics Consultation Service.
