Susan E Smalling

Susan E Smalling is a Professor of Social Work & Family Studies and Associate Dean of Social Sciences at St. Olaf College. She also serves as Director of the BSW program and Director of Faculty Community and Belonging. Her roles span academic leadership, program direction, and institutional equity initiatives.

Education: MSW from University of Minnesota Duluth (Child Welfare Fellow), PhD from Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University.
