Susan Cottle Alberto is a Part-time Assistant Professor at Parsons School of Design, The New School, where she has taught since 2001. She also holds affiliations with St. John’s University, The New York Academy of Art, and international institutions like SACI in Florence, Italy, and Montserrat College of Art in Viterbo. Her research focuses on painting techniques (oil, gouache, watercolor), drawing, mixed media, and art history. She has organized plein air painting workshops in New York and Pinzolo, Italy, and exhibits internationally. Notably, she received an Artist Residency at Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona.
