Ard Berge is an Associate Professor in the Art Department at Felician University. He holds an M.F.A. in Painting from the New York Academy of Art (1997) and a B.F.A. in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University (1995).
His artistic practice focuses on figurative painting, landscape art, and drawing techniques. Berge's work explores the human form through traditional techniques combined with contemporary perspectives.
He has exhibited internationally with solo shows in London and New York. Berge has received artist residencies at Santa Fe Art Institute and Acadia National Park. He previously taught at the New York Academy of Art and Bergen Community College.
