As an authority in gender communication and decision-making, Professor Case has identified persistent differences in men's and women's discourse in organizations, examining how biology contributes to these differences and their organizational implications. Her research on work/family integration, career-in-life issues, and organizational policies for women in nontraditional fields has been widely recognized, including being honored as a featured women and work article by Wiley Publishers in 2016. She extensively investigates how Western religious traditions influence managerial ethical behavior and leadership integrity, as well as how diverse groups learn about diversity in global contexts and design inclusive organizational systems.
Her recent publications demonstrate a sophisticated integration of religious studies, gender theory, and organizational behavior, with increasing focus on the relevance of sacred texts to contemporary workplace challenges, particularly during unprecedented times. Her methodological approach combines biopsychosocial perspectives with poststructural theory to examine traditional business concepts through critical lenses.
