Prof. Dr. Susan Aasman is a Professor of Digital Humanities at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Arts, leading the Centre for Digital Humanities. Her academic journey includes a Senior Qualification in Education from the University of Groningen (2017). She specializes in media history, digital cultural heritage, web archaeology, and the cultural dynamics of amateur media practices.
Research Interests: Her work explores digital humanities methodologies, media archaeology, and the preservation of web-based cultural heritage. Key areas include the history of home movies, the evolution of amateur media, and ethical considerations in digital archiving.
