Supriya K. Jambhekar

Dr. Supriya K. Jambhekar is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and serves as Medical Director of the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Sleep Disorders Center. Her clinical work focuses on Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine, with expertise in treating airway disorders, asthma, cystic fibrosis, and pediatric sleep conditions.

• Education: Seth G.S. Medical College, Bombay (1991); Residency at Bombay University (1995) and Woodhull Medical Center (2002); Fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at SUNY Medical Center (2005).

Dr. Jambhekar’s research explores sleep-disordered breathing, obesity-related respiratory issues, and cystic fibrosis management. Her studies include evaluating PAP therapy for catathrenia, surgical outcomes for obese children with obstructive sleep apnea, and predictive factors for pulmonary function in cystic fibrosis patients.
